Rhythm
x Jack Freestone

Rhythm and Jack Freestone set out to collaborate on building great content for those interested in the progression of alternative surfing.

We first collaborated in 2023 on the surf film Oasis, which showcased Freestone’s surfing through parts of Mexico as part of a Rhythm Trunk campaign. During the project, a genuine friendship grew with a like-minded, down-to-earth character.

On 28 March 2024, Rhythm, a contemporary surf brand based in Burleigh Heads, is stoked to announce a partnership with Jack Freestone as he joins the team as an advocate surfer for 2024.

At first glance, the Rhythm and Freestone partnership may seem unlikely; on the one hand, you have an authentic alternative surf brand, and on the other, you are a world tour-level surfer. However, as times change, Rhythm is searching to expand its storytelling in alternative surfing, looking for a high-profile surfer to help push the boundaries of drawing different lines on a wave. In the opposite pendulum, we see Jack transition from competitive surfing to free-surfing by expanding his quiver of boards and ultimately driving towards a similar goal of pushing the boundaries in alternative surfing.

As part of the Rhythm team, Freestone will collaborate with the brand on surfing projects, marketing initiatives, and community engagement. Follow @rhythm on social media for updates on Jack Freestone’s and Rhythm’s partnership.
